Abstract

The  article  discusses  the  concept  of  UNESCO  on  the  organization  of  online  training  in emergency situations, such as the COVID-19 pandemic and the possibility of its implementation at the Vladivostok State University of Economics and Service in conjunction
with Moscow State University of Technology and Management. Razumovsky and educational organizations of  China, Japan, the Republic of  Korea and Mongolia. The authors determine the essence and prospects of online learning as the only means for the continuing educational process, based on a study of the latest UNESCO initiatives in the field of education in quarantine and self-isolation.
The substantial part of the UNESCO Open Schools program and the experience of its implementation in Russia are revealed. The expediency and stagedness of the promotion of the innovative educational project «Online schools and institutes for the countries of the
Asia-Pacific  region»  is  substantiated.  The  coordinating  function  of  UNESCO  and  its  Far Eastern Committee in the implementation of digital projects for the diagnosis and treatment of coronavirus, as well as in the transition to the management of socio-economic
development in the «smart city» mode, is emphasized.
